I am an OCAD University graduate with a B.Des in Environmental Design, specializing in Interior Design. I have always been very passionate about textile craft and the ways in which textiles are used in the home; in both practical and beautiful ways! Showing the design world that there is a place for craft traditions, the beauty and materiality of textile art, is a journey I began in university. I infused my work with craft traditions, as a visual language and tactile communication method. Some of these traditions I was taught as a child, by women in my family, such as knitting and sewing, some are new discoveries to me. This is still a passion of mine and a journey I continue in each of my projects.
